DECEMBER NEWSLETTER

The preschool children in our 2’s, 3’s & 4’s classes have been invited by our music minister, Mrs. Diana, to participate in the LCOR Christmas Cantata! This will take place on Sunday, December 10th at 10:00am. The children are going to be singing a couple songs during the program. When they are not singing, we will have them in the preschool area. We will transport them back and forth when it is their turn to perform, and families can sit and enjoy the program. If your child can participate and you can attend, please send them in all white attire as they will be angels. It could be a white dress, white shirt/pants, a big white oversized t-shirt or anything at all as long as it’s white! We will provide angel accessories for them to wear.
LCOR Preschool will be having a Christmas “Shop.” The shop will take place on December 12th and 13th during preschool. The children will get a chance to shop for their families and choose gifts all on their own. They will wrap them and can surprise their families with special gifts on Christmas! We will be collecting donated items to stock the shop and we will need parent volunteers to help run the shop. Detailed information on the Christmas shop attached!
The preschool children in our 2’s, 3’s & 4’s classes will be having a Christmas Sing-A-Long, followed by a Birthday Party for Jesus, on Friday, December 15th at 11:00am in the church chapel. We want our toddlers to join us for the party! Not only will the children raise their voices to God in celebration, but they will also sing Happy Birthday to Jesus and enjoy some birthday cake, hot chocolate & a couple surprise visitors! We would like for all families to attend! This will be such a special time! Please send children to preschool on this day dressed in their Christmas best! (There will be no lunch bunch. The children will go home with their families at the conclusion of the special event.)
Our way of helping during this holiday season will be collecting supplies (toys, treats, blankets,
etc.) for the animals at the local animal shelter. They need things so badly! Please send in items for this collection throughout the month of December and we will deliver everything to the shelter after our last day!
There will be NO LUNCH BUNCH on December 15th
The preschool will be CLOSED over Christmas from December 18, 2023 – January 1, 2024.
